Chelsea Prescott was a housemate on the second season of Big Brother. She entered the House on Day 1. She was a member of the Quatro alliance in the first few weeks, and joined the Girl Power alliance after her previous allies were evicted. While seen as a leader of her group, Chelsea managed to maintain working relationships with housemates on the opposing side of the House as well. This aided her when she made it to the final two with Brooke, who had failed to do so. Chelsea was crowned the winner of the season in a five to two jury vote.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Chelsea Prescott was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She was an honor roll student throughout high school, and had a desire to be a reporter. She was a Buzzfeed writer soon after finishing high school, but left the company to intern with her local news station. She worked her way to the top, becoming a television news anchor. She believed that her experience in investigative journalism could help her in the game. She had not watched the series prior to being cast, and was scouted by a casting agent due to her television work. Chelsea felt that she had potential to win the game as she was a social person that could make friends with anyone that was in the House with her. She hoped to use the prize money, should she win the season, to help her ill sister with medical and living expenses.

Chelsea entered the House on Day 1. She became a part of the Quatro alliance in the first week, though the group was plagued with problems. Being blindsided in the first week's eviction, the alliance found themselves the target the next week. Chelsea was nominated for eviction against Jasmin, but survived the vote. She won the following Head of Household competition, setting her sights on evicting Michael from the House. Despite her plans, Michelle was instead evicted in another blindside. Ben and Ian, the other remaining members of Quatro, were then eliminated in a double eviction the next week. With her original alliance eliminated, Chelsea formed the Girl Power group with Brooke and Camila. The group managed to eliminate three members of the opposing side before losing one of their own - Camila. Despite the loss, the two remaining women continued to work together, and went on to become the final two housemates of the season. Chelsea was crowned the winner of the season in a five to two vote, with the jury feeling she had played a smarter game than her opponent.

Upon exiting the House, Chelsea was met with a positive reaction from fans. She has continued to make appearances on the show as a former winner, but admits to not watching the show often. She has remained in contact with several of her former housemates.
