Monica Reyes was a housemate on the second season of Big Brother. She entered the House on Day 1. She kept a low profile in the first few weeks, and became a member of the Three Muskateers with the two late arrivals in the game. She also joined the Silent Six in the third week, having been a part of flipping the vote to keep Michael that week. She won the Head of Household competition during the season's first double eviction, and helped evict Ian from the House. She was nominated the next week as a pawn against Sam, though her allies flipped the vote on her and she was evicted from the House on Day 37.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Monica Reyes was born in Georgia, and moved to South Carolina with her family as a teenager. She claimed to have developed psychic abilities as a child, a trait which she believes was passed down to her by her mother. She began giving her friends in high school readings, and when she was eighteen began doing so as an official business. She lived in Tennessee for a period of time, and owned her own business. She met her future husband when she was twenty-eight, and the couple married four years later. She has since had two children, a son and a daughter. Monica applied for the series as she was a fan of the social experiment aspect of the show, and believed that her abilities could help her navigate her way to the end. She predicted multiple things in the pre-season interviews, such as the late entrance of two housemates after the first eviction. She believed that the male housemate would be her closest ally, though this proved to be untrue when he ultimately led to her eviction.

Monica entered the House on Day 1. She quickly took on the role of the House mother, a strategy she had hoped to incorporate to seem less threatening to the others. She formed a close bond with Brian and Camila, who entered the game after the first eviction, and the trio created the Three Muskateers alliance. Being a part of the decision to flip the vote and evict Michelle in the third week, she became a member of the Silent Six alliance. Her allies came into power the next week, and evicted the opposing side's strongest competitor. In the show's first double eviction, Monica won the "True or False" competition and became the new Head of Household. Despite her friendship with him, Monica targeted Ian due to her alliance wanting him evicted next. He was subsequently evicted, leaving Monica feeling guilty. When the opposing alliance came into power, Monica was nominated against her ally Sam as a pawn. Despite Sam being the target, Monica's allies began to develop a plan to flip the vote and evict her instead. Though she believed that Brian would give her the one vote she needed to remain in the game, he chose to vote against her. She was evicted from the House on Day 37, and became the first member of the jury. She voted for Brooke to win the series.

Upon leaving the House, Monica resumed life as a wife and mother. She has made some appearances on The Big Brother Mash-Up, though has said she has no desire to leave her children to enter the House again. She has remained in contact with several of her fellow housemates, including Ian and Sam.
