Biography[edit | edit source]

Lisa Bryant was born in Missouri. He always was seen as a tomboy even while known as Lisa, and could recall knowing that he was a man since the age of four. When he was sixteen, he spoke with his parents about his gender identity. The couple were supportive, and by the age of twenty he had completed gender reassignment surgery. He met his husband when he was seventeen, and the pair have been together since. They had their wedding only one month before Luke entered the House. He was a fan of the show's first season, and listed Tommie Davis as his favorite former housemate. He believed that the viewers would enjoy his kindness and sense of humor, and hoped to use the prize money to buy his husband their dream home.

Luke entered the House on Day 1. He chose not to inform the housemates on the first night that he was transgender, and instead hoped that they could get to know him before he told them the news. He told Jada on Day 3 about his gender identity, and the pair remained close friends. He told the remaining housemates soon after. Despite being liked by his other housemates, Luke struggled to adjust to life in the House. In addition, he missed his husband and at times seemed distant in the game. He was nominated for eviction on Day 19, during the double eviction week. Though he had a decent amount of fan support, he was seen as less interesting than his opponents. Luke was evicted from the House on Day 23. He was met with a positive reaction from fans upon exiting the House. He returned home to his husband after the show, and has kept a relatively low profile since his time in the game. He often speaks with fans online about the show, but has not returned to the series since his initial season. Luke and his husband adopted their first child three years later, and have remained together since.
