Sam Asghari was a housemate on the second season of Sims Big Brother. He entered the House on Day 1. Sam escaped eviction in the first week, and in doing so found a powerful alliance to join. He attempted to have a strong social game, having friendships with the women on the opposing side. He was evicted in fourth place.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Hesam "Sam" Asghari was born and raised in Oregon. His parents immigrated to the United States from Iran prior to him being born. He was athletic as a child, being a football and basketball player. He moved to California soon after graduation, and had a career as a fitness model. He dated a popular pop-singer for a period, gaining media attention for a short while. Following their breakup, he returned home to Oregon and became a personal trainer. He had not heard of the series prior to being cast, and was scouted at a nightclub while visiting friends in California. He believed that he had the physical strength to make it to the end of the game. He hoped to use the prize money, should he win the series, to get a new car and buy his parents a new home.

Sam entered the House on Day 1. He formed a close friendship with Nick, and the pair remained close during their time in the House. He was nominated in the first week as a replacement nominee, and was the Head of Household's target that week. The vote managed to be flipped at the last minute, and Sam survived the vote. He won his first competition in the fourth week, the wildcard challenge, and earned himself safety for that week. He was a member of the 4x4 alliance, which later merged into the Silent Six and The Bros alliances. He won two Head of Household competitions, as well as two Power of Veto competitions. He was seen as a strong physical and social threat by the other housemates, and gained a large target as a result. He was evicted on Day 65, coming in fourth place.

Upon exiting the House, Sam was met with a widely positive reaction from fans. He was voted in a poll as the fan favorite housemate that season. He was offered a spot as a host of The Big Brother Mash-Up for the show's second season.
