Brandon Kyle
Brandon Kyle was a housemate on the first season of Big Brother. He entered the House on Day 1. Brandon was a founding member of the Tres Hermanos alliance, formed on the second day, which was the first alliance in the show's history. He and his allies had control over the first two weeks of the game, but by the third week found themselves alienated from the housemates. He was nominated for eviction in the fourth week, and was evicted in a seven to one vote. He came in eleventh place. Brandon went on to appear on the Big Brother Road Trip spin-off series, where he resumed a romantic relationship with castmate Bree. The pair went on to get married after the show and now have a child together.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Brandon was born and raised in Vermont. He was the star quarterback for his high school football team, and played sports such as basketball and soccer as well. Being from a small town, he felt that family and his religion were the two most important things in his life. He recently went through a breakup prior to entering the House, and hoped to find a romantic connection along with winning the prize money. He auditioned for the series as a means of trying new things and getting out of the same small town he grew up in. Brandon believed that his athleticism could help him win his way to the end of the game. He felt that the hardest thing to leave behind would be his grandmother, who was not in the best of health. He described his biggest fear as sharks, and his greatest accomplishment as winning the football state championship his senior year. He hoped to win the series and use the money to help his family and buy a house.
Brandon entered the House on Day 1. He was a founding member of the Tres Hermanos alliance, formed on the second day. He formed a romantic relationship with Bree in the first week, though this ended when she was evicted on Day 9. Brandon won the "Majority Rules" competition that night, becoming the second Head of Household of the season. Though he and his allies agreed that Tommie should be the target for the week, he found himself torn as his alliance wanted him to nominate his friend Cameron as a pawn. He ultimately chose to nominate the two women on Day 11, and when Brad won the Power of Veto that week his nominations remained the same. Despite believing they had the votes to evict Tommie, Brandon and his allies found themselves blindsided when Cameron was evicted in a six to four vote. Tres Hermanos became the main targets for the remaining housemates after this, with Brad being evicted the week after. Brandon was nominated in the fourth week alongside Stallone, and soon realized that he was this week's target. He attempted to make deals with the opposing alliance, though this proved unsuccessful. He was ultimately evicted from the House on Day 30 in a seven to one vote. He came in eleventh place.
Upon leaving the House, Brandon chose to travel and enjoy a small dose of fame. He and Cameron continued to have a strong friendship after his eviction, and the pair were spotted together several times. He and Bree chose not to continue a romantic relationship due to the distance between them. Brandon appeared on The Big Brother Mash-Up spin-off series after his stint in the House. He reconciled with Bree two years later. The pair went on to get married, and went on to have a daughter together. Brandon has continued to make small returns to the series, though has not competed on the show since.
