Annalise Villegas
Annalise Villegas was a housemate on the first season of Big Brother. She entered the House on Day 1. Hoping to take on the role of House mother, she tried to avoid game talk and focus on cooking and cleaning. This worked against her, as she was seen as a strong pawn in the first weeks of the game. Seen as a weak player, Annalise found herself pushed to the outskirts of each alliance. She had a close alliance with Andy Finley, as well as Stallone Morales. She became the eighth Head of Household of the season, and succeeded in evicting Leslie Sammons from the House. Despite her victory, she was evicted in a double eviction that same night, coming in sixth place. Upon leaving the House, she resumed a normal life of caring for her children and being a wife.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Annalise Villegas was born and raised in Arizona. Becoming a local model at a young age, she moved to New York to pursue a modeling career as an adult. When she was only nineteen, she began landing major gigs for fashion shows and high profile magazines and brands. Annalise was one of few plus sized Hispanic models in the business, a feat which both made her proud and saddened her. Hoping to challenge herself on a new level, she began law school when she was twenty-one. She passed the bar exam, becoming a certified lawyer. She married her husband, Richard, when she was twenty-five. The couple welcomed their first child when she was twenty-eight. Looking to challenge herself once more, Annalise applied for the series hoping to test her mental strength. She believed that her experiences outside of the House had given her the strength to make it to the end of the game. She hoped to use the prize money to set aside for her child's college tuition, and to buy her family a new house.
Annalise entered the House on Day 1. The oldest housemate of the season, she was seen as a weak player by her fellow housemates. Though she had no problem making friends, she was not seen as a viable ally, and thus excluded from major game talks in the early weeks. Seen as a likeable player, she was nominated in the first week as a pawn against Bree. The plan was successful, and Bree was evicted from the House that week. When the House began to turn on the Tres Hermanos alliance the next week, Annalise was included in the plotting to turn against the men. Despite this, she was not included in the Secret Six alliance that formed as a result. She was used as a pawn once more in the third week, this time against Brad. She survived her second eviction vote, making her the first housemate to do so. Feeling betrayed by the Secret Six alliance, Annalise began working with housemates such as Brandon and Stallone, finding them to be more loyal allies. Upon Brandon's eviction, she formed a close bond with Andy, and the pair formed a final three alliance with Stallone. Her role in the game began to grow dramatically when Shavan came into power, as she and Andy worked to ensure that the House's target Stallone was not evicted that week. She played a role in convincing him to target Ozzie that week, and he was successfully backdoored.
She next tried to target Mitchell, who had remained a non-threat in the game thus far. His ally and that week's Head of Household, Leslie, did not approve of the plan. She set her sights on Stallone, and nominated him against Andy. Viewing Stallone as a stronger ally, she devised a plan with Tia and Tommie to form the Fantastic Four alliance with Stallone and flip the vote. Despite an initial pact, the plan flipped and Stallone was evicted. Annalise rose to power the next week, winning her first competition of the season. She targeted Leslie for eviction, as the House viewed her as the strongest strategic threat. Leslie and Shavan were that week's final nominations, and Leslie was evicted from the House. Despite Annalise's success in evicting her target, the House learned that it would be a double eviction night. Leslie's ally, Mitchell, rose to power and nominated Annalise and Tia for eviction. Though she was just a pawn, she became the target after Tommie won the Power of Veto and removed Tia from the block. Only minutes after her Head of Household reign was up, Annalise was evicted from the House in a unanimous vote. She came in sixth place, and spent 51 days in the House. She voted for Tommie to win the season, seeing her as a stronger physical and strategic player.
Since leaving the House, Annalise went back to a normal life of being a wife and mother. She continues to be an avid fan of the series, and often tweets and live streams with fans of the show. She has appeared on The Big Brother Mash-Up since her season.
